The Brook Green Association has arranged a bulb planting date for Saturday 7th October 2006. They are hoping for as many volunteers as possible to come and lend a hand. The BGA is funding this operation in liaison with the council; in its turn, the council's Jeff Hawkins, with one or two helpers, will be there from 8 a.m. on the day to oversee activities. They would appreciate it if volunteers could arrive by 8.30 a.m. in time for the safety briefing before planting begins in earnest.
- Start time 8.30 a.m.
- Meeting place - on Brook Green by Shepherds Bush Road bus shelter.
- Wear working clothes and gardening gloves and something on which to kneel.
- Estimated finishing time 12 noon
Planting will start on Brook Green and Little Brook Green, and move to Planetree Court
