New Parliamentary Seat
At the next General Election there will be new parliamentary seat boundaries in West London, including a new seat – Hammersmith. This seat will be marginal, with a notional Labour majority (see statistical analysis here). The Labour Party has already selected their candidate, and the Conservatives are in the process of selecting theirs. It is a key seat – whichever party takes Hammersmith is likely to win the election as a whole and form the next government.
