C1 Bus - Latest News

TfL admit defeat - for now.
Transport for London - Ken Livingstone's transport advisory group - has admitted that they were wrong to assume that Blythe Road is a suitable route for a bus. TfL has now acknowledged they can’t bring in the bus unless the speed table at Blythe Road is modified as there is a danger that buses will ground on it. In the short term Tfl will now run the C1 via Holland Road, the route H&F and K&C councils wanted. This follows a sustained campaign by local residents, councillors and local MP, Greg Hands, to convince TfL that their proposal was crazy.
